July 9 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

The Leotas, Uale’s, Maiava’s, Anaes, Tau’ililis were the first pioneers from Samoa in 1921 to arrive in Laie, Hawai’i my home town. My grandparents Muelu and Penina Meatoga arrived in 1924, when my mother Felila was 10 years old. There will be choral music provided by Laie 9th Ward Samoan choir under  the direction of Uncle Paisa Matagi.  Family speakers will share the history of their ancestors. Honored to be part of this program, looking forward to it.  It will be held at the Laie Back Chapel on Lanihuili Street up Temple Hill Road.  Starts at 7pm., aloha and talofa!
