Polynesian Cultural Center, Celebration of 60th Anniversary in my home town of La’ie..

October 8 - October 12

*PUBLIC EVENT*
October 8th-12th, 2023, we will honor the “Legacy and People of Polynesia”. Those that came before us that built this great historical and authentic Cultural Center in my home town of La’ie, O’ahu.
Below is the online link form if you would like to be part of this event as a volunteer or guest for the week of activities. One of my favorite places on earth, my childhood home of “Behold La’ie”.  I will be performing on October 9th to open the festivities. Details soon to follow. I am so humbled 60 years later to have been a little six year old passing by on Naniloa Loop wondering what are they building on that spot kitty corner to The Church College of Hawai’i? It brought our little church town a life of it’s own with culture,  history,  jobs, education,  hard working  islanders that had and made a purpose for future generations. #thisISusNow #sixtyyearsLATER

  1. My name is Caroline Wolfgramm Irwin and as a teenager my father was called to help build PCC. He also represented Tonga at the PPC dedication. I returned to Church College of Hawaii [preBYU- Hawaii] and danced at PCC… I desire more details!

    1. Caroline do you remember me my name is Lovey my ex-husband was Solomon Toki. He was a labor missionary who help build the PCC and the dormitory’s. I lived in Laie for ten years then moved to the Big Island.

      1. Hi Lovey, aloha! Thank you for responding to Caroline’s question?
Will you be participating for PCC’s event coming up next month.
I will be there for the Fijian Section and singing in the Samoan Village.
        Take care, best~
        Faith
