My best childhood memories of my family and home town of La’ie are in this home made video.

A very special song about my life growing up on north shore of O’ahu, Hawai’i. One of many of my music mentors growing up in La’ie, Ms. Esther DeLarosa Macy whom I loved dearly, she encouraged me to record this song. No one from our North Shore communities has ever recorded this beautiful mele so I went to work on it. I flew home to La’ie and Kahuku for 3 days an got it done. Honored by my dear cousin Joe Napeahi to do a duet with me, mahalo nui loa. To Mr. Dave Tucciarone, Grammy Award, Na Hoku Hanohano Award winning Producer, aloha Dave for gifting my recording as an appreciation and token of the enduring love for my childhood home. Please enjoy, mahalo for supporting hawaiian music,

This song was chosen for Hawaiian Airlines InFlight Services for video promotion on airplane audio and screen. Mahalo to Hawaiian Airlines and Jon Yamasoto’s crew, Hi Sessions for the live taping session. The view was breath taking on that day July 24, 2014. Aunty Ululani Zuttermeister Black sewed us all leis from her hale aina, the bomb.com! The mana was quiet and still in the morning upon the foothills of the Pali mountains. Couldn’t have had a better birthday, what a way to spend it on my island home. Later that night we did Pakele Live in Honolulu and celebrated a sold out show with my family and dear friends from all over.

Click here to view me singing for the San Jose Sharks Hockey game. The Canadian Anthem and our National anthem was performed by my Kinau 8 string Ukulele, while the audience started to sing with me, way cool. The Sharks CEO said never has the fans sung along with the anthems? I said it’s the “ukulele”! February 16, 2017.
