Here we go folks, our 23rd Annual Five Star Aloha Gala Event on May 23, 2025 is coming up! Event will be held from 5:30-8:30 pm.
I am so excited as we honor these  three beautiful Kumu Hula Masters that perpetuate and keep ALOHA alive in the Bay Area while being nominated for this prestigous award,  Ku Lia I Ka Nu’u, Strive for the Summit Award!
It is because of the rigorous hours of hula study, protocols and traditions passed forward to their haumana, the cultural stories, their mana’o and wisdom they possess through their own visions of the artistry of “HULA”,  they have dedicated over 3 decades of their lives here in the Bay Area and abroad.
We love you Kumu Hula Mark, Kumu Hula Kawika and my lovely Kumu Hula Shawna Alapa’i, from precious times of the past to now, the present…
